Gaslögmálum is a term derived from Icelandic that roughly translates to "laws of gases." In physics and chemistry, this refers to the fundamental principles that describe the behavior of gases under various conditions. Here, P represents pressure, V is volume, n is the amount of gas in moles, R is the ideal gas constant, and T is the absolute temperature. While the ideal gas law provides a good approximation for most gases under typical conditions, real gases deviate from this behavior, particularly at high pressures and low temperatures, where intermolecular forces and the finite volume of gas particles become significant.
