Fysikscheman, also known as Free Electron Scheme or Drude-Lorentz Model, is a simplified model in physics used to explain the behavior of electrons in a conductor. The term "fysikscheman" is Swedish for "physics scheme" or "physical model".

This model was first proposed by Hendrik Lorentz in the late 19th century and later modified by Paul Drude in the early 20th century. According to the fysikscheman, the behavior of electrons in a conductor can be described using the following assumptions: the electrons move freely and randomly in the conductor, the mean free path of the electrons is much smaller than the dimensions of the conductor, and the electrons interact with the lattice of the conductor through collisions.
