However, hash tables can suffer from collisions, where multiple keys hash to the same index, which can degrade performance.

These trees maintain a balanced structure to ensure that operations like insertion, deletion, and lookup have logarithmic time complexity. The balancing process involves rotations and color changes in the case of red-black trees, which helps maintain the tree's height and thus its performance.

Fastruktúrák are also used in databases and file systems to improve the efficiency of data retrieval. For instance, B-trees and B+ trees are commonly used in database indexing to allow for efficient range queries and sequential access.
