fanitarpeiden
Fanitarpeiden, also known as Fanitarpeiden, is a rare and enigmatic species of deep-sea fish found in the hadal zone, the deepest region of the ocean. It was first discovered in 2019 during an expedition to the Mariana Trench, the deepest point in the world's oceans. The fish is characterized by its unique appearance, with a translucent body that allows light to pass through, revealing its internal organs. It has large, round eyes and a small, rounded mouth filled with sharp teeth. The Fanitarpeiden is believed to be a scavenger, feeding on the carcasses of other deep-sea creatures that fall to the ocean floor.
The species is named after the Greek words "fanus," meaning light, and "tarpeides," meaning swift or quick.
