Etimologjikë is an Albanian adjective meaning "etymological" or "relating to etymology." In linguistic and lexicographic writing, phrases such as analizë etimologjike or shpjegim etimologjik indicate that the focus is on a word’s roots and its historical forms.

Etimologjikë stems from etimologji, the study of etymology. The term travels from Greek etumología, via Latin etymologia, into Albanian. It is commonly employed in dictionaries, grammars, and philology to indicate information about a word’s origin, its cognates in related languages, and the changes in form and meaning over time.
