Eszközbl is a fictional open standard and reference implementation designed to unify the management of tools and devices in automated environments. It provides a common data model for devices, a discovery protocol, and a control interface that enables orchestration across heterogeneous equipment, from CNC machines to laboratory instruments.

Its architecture is modular, consisting of a core registry, a device and capability model, adapters for hardware drivers, and client SDKs. The data model describes devices, their capabilities, status, and telemetry. A lightweight transport layer supports both pull and push communication, enabling real-time monitoring and event-driven automation.

Eszközbl emphasizes security and reliability, offering role-based access control, traceable audit logs, and versioned APIs. It supports offline operation and graceful state synchronization for intermittent networks. Plugins can be developed to add new device drivers without altering the core system.

Typical use cases include orchestrating production lines, coordinating laboratory equipment, and enabling cross-site asset management in manufacturing or research facilities.

Although fictional, Eszközbl has been used in academic and industry mockups to illustrate how a universal device-management layer could interact with existing standards such as OPC UA, MQTT, and REST APIs.
