Erythroblastické refers to anything related to erythroblasts. Erythroblasts, also known as normoblasts, are immature red blood cells found in the bone marrow of mammals. They are the precursors to mature erythrocytes (red blood cells). Erythroblasts develop through several stages, progressively losing their nucleus and accumulating hemoglobin. The process of erythroblast development is called erythropoiesis.

The stages of erythroblast development include the proerythroblast, basophilic erythroblast, polychromatophilic erythroblast, and orthochromatophilic erythroblast. During these stages, the cell undergoes significant morphological changes. The nucleus becomes smaller and denser, eventually being expelled from the cell in the orthochromatophilic stage. The cytoplasm, initially basophilic (blue) due to abundant RNA, gradually becomes eosinophilic (pink) as hemoglobin synthesis increases.

The presence of erythroblasts in the peripheral blood, outside of the bone marrow, is typically considered abnormal and can indicate various pathological conditions. This is often referred to as nucleated red blood cells in circulation. Conditions that can lead to the release of erythroblasts into the bloodstream include severe anemia, bone marrow stress, hypoxia, and certain hematological malignancies.

The term erythroblastický is a Czech adjective derived from "erythroblast." It is used to describe characteristics or conditions associated with erythroblasts, such as "erythroblastická anémie" (erythroblastic anemia) or "erythroblastický ostrov" (erythroblastic island), which is a cluster of developing erythroblasts surrounding a macrophage in the bone marrow. The study and identification of erythroblasts are crucial in hematology for diagnosing and monitoring blood disorders.
