energiavoog

Energiavoog is the rate at which energy crosses a given surface per unit area, commonly expressed in watts per square meter (W/m^2). It describes how energy is transported through a medium or across a boundary by mechanisms such as conduction, convection, radiation, or mechanical work. In general, the energy flux is represented by a flux vector, and the net energy crossing a surface is obtained from the surface integral of this vector dotted with the surface normal.

Different physical contexts use specific expressions for the energy flux. In heat transfer by conduction, the conductive flux is q" = -k ∇T. For radiative transfer, the outward radiative flux can be approximated by q_rad = ε σ T^4 for a surface with emissivity ε.
