enddate

EndDate is a concept used across scheduling, records management, and software systems to denote the termination point of a time-bound interval. It defines the latest moment or date at which a period, contract, eligibility window, or data retention rule remains in effect. In many contexts endDate is used together with startDate to form a closed interval [startDate, endDate], although some systems treat the endDate as exclusive or non-inclusive.

Formats and types: EndDate may be a date (YYYY-MM-DD), a date-time (YYYY-MM-DDTHH:MM:SS), or a timestamp with time

Practical considerations: Time zone consistency is important; convert dates to a common time zone for comparisons.
