Emulsoit is a term used in speculative and early-stage scholarly discussions to denote a class of emulsifying agents or stabilizers intended to create and maintain stable emulsions across diverse formulations. The word is a blend of "emulsion" and the suffix "-oit," reflecting a proposed role in manipulating interfacial phenomena. In current discourse, emulsoit is not a standardized chemical name, and there is no consensus on its constituent structures or mechanisms.

Proposed mechanism and form: In hypothetical models, emulsoit comprises amphiphilic polymers, colloidal nanoparticles, or hybrid organic–inorganic assemblies that position at the oil–water interface. They are described as forming multilayer shells around droplets, providing steric and electrostatic stabilization and enabling high internal phase emulsions, improved rheology, and resistance to coalescence and Ostwald ripening. The performance is said to be tunable via hydrophilic-lipophilic balance, particle size, and surface functionality.

Applications and status: Reported suggested applications include cosmetics, food emulsions, pharmaceuticals, and coatings. Practical development would require optimization of compatibility, processing conditions, and regulatory assessment.
