elujõulisus

Elujõulisus is an Estonian noun that denotes the quality or state of being vigorous, energetic, and robust. In everyday use, it describes a person’s vitality as well as the vigor of living organisms. The term is formed from elu (life) and jõud (power or force) with the abstract-noun suffix -lus, yielding roughly “the state of life power.”

In health, elujõulisus is often used to express overall vitality or reserve capacity beyond mere physical fitness. It encompasses physical energy, cognitive alertness, and resilience to stress. While not a strict medical term with a single definition, it is employed in public discourse, health promotion, and some research contexts to indicate how lively or vigorous a person feels or appears.
