Elektrokoagulaation, also known as electrocoagulation, is a water treatment process that uses electrical currents to remove contaminants from water. It works by passing an electric current through electrodes submerged in the contaminated water. These metal ions then act as coagulants, neutralizing the negative charges of suspended particles, dissolved organic matter, and certain heavy metals.
