Eigravitation refers to a hypothetical force of attraction between charged objects, analogous to Einstein's general theory of gravitation. Firstly, proposed by physicist Samuel Collins in 1993, the concept has sparked debate in the physics community. Collins, a Harvard student at the time, submitted his research on the topic to the journal Physical Review Letters. However, it was not published due to the journal's rejection of non-peer reviewed submissions.

Collins' concept is based on Einstein's equation for gravity, often represented as Gμν = (8πG/c^4)Tμν. The math revolves around Einstein's 1915 work, although Collins replaces mass (m) in this equation with electric charge (q) – suggesting that electric charge and mass have equivalent effects in an electric field. Hence, just as mass warps space, electric charge warps the electric field, resulting in eigravitation.

The probabilistic-like concept predicts the existence of electric force analogues to gravitational waves discovered in 2015. While some regarded it as promising, its main proponents faced criticism regarding the supposed contradiction between CLASS physics (the standard measurement technique used for gravitational waves) and mans-level physics understanding with hard sums introduced. Critics claim data acquisition results using LIGO could possibly back prior views on the way waves propagate with soldiers distorted inside.
