Døgnbaserede is a Danish adjective used to describe services, processes or operations that are available and functioning 24 hours a day, throughout an entire day. The term combines døgn, meaning a 24-hour day, with baseret, based, and is used to emphasize continuous availability rather than limited daytime operations.

In public administration, healthcare, social services, information technology and customer service, døgnbaserede tjenester or døgnbaseret drift indicate that staff and resources are maintained for emergencies and routine tasks around the clock. Examples include døgnbaserede akutmodtagelser, døgnbaseret hjemmepleje, and døgnåbne kunde- or supportcentre. In IT and security, round-the-clock monitoring, incident response and disaster recovery are described as døgnbaserede drift.

Implementation of døgnbaserede operations requires staffing plans with overnight shifts or on-call arrangements, robust procedures, and safety and risk management measures. While associated with higher labor costs and potential fatigue risks, døgnbaserede operations can improve accessibility, response times, continuity of care and resilience in crisis situations.
