Dominasioonide refers to multiple instances or aspects of domination or dominance across different disciplines. In Estonian usage, dominasioonide is the genitive plural form of dominasioon, aligning with contexts that discuss several examples or types of dominance.

In biology and ecology, domination often means the predominance of a species or a functional group within a community, typically assessed by measures such as biomass, abundance, or impact on resource use. A dominant species can shape habitat structure and influence other species’ distribution and survival. In genetics, dominance describes how alleles influence phenotype, with dominant alleles masking recessive ones; more complex patterns include incomplete dominance and codominance, where heterozygotes display intermediate or mixed traits.
