Djupbegränsning, also known as deep learning, is a subset of machine learning that involves training artificial neural networks with multiple layers to model complex patterns in data. These networks, often referred to as deep neural networks, are capable of learning hierarchical representations of data, making them particularly effective for tasks such as image and speech recognition, natural language processing, and more.

The term "deep" in deep learning refers to the number of layers in the neural network. While traditional machine learning algorithms often involve a single layer of processing, deep learning algorithms can have dozens or even hundreds of layers. Each layer in a deep neural network transforms the input data into a more abstract representation, with the final layers capturing the most complex features.
