descansás

Descansás is the second person singular present indicative form of the Spanish verb descansar in dialects that use voseo. In these varieties, such as those spoken in Argentina, Uruguay, parts of Paraguay, and some Central American communities, the pronoun vos replaces tú, and the verb takes a distinct set of endings. Descansás therefore means “you rest” or “you are resting” in informal address.

In formal writing or broadcast news outside voseo regions, descansar is typically conjugated with tú and usted forms as appropriate, and descansás would not be used in those contexts.
