Decibelit is a term that appears in some discussions and fictional contexts as a proposed unit of measurement for sound level or perceived loudness. It is not an officially recognized unit in any standard metrology system, and there is no universally accepted definition.

Origins of the term are informal. In various sketches or discussions, a decibelit is described as a smaller subdivision of the decibel, intended to provide finer granularity for small changes in sound level.
