This often occurs in scenarios involving heating water or other liquids, where the rapid transition from liquid to gaseous state creates visible pockets of vapor. These vapor bubbles rise to the surface, and upon contact with the cooler surrounding liquid or air, they can collapse, a process sometimes referred to as condensation or, in the context of bubbles, the 'dampeboble' effect.
