dAixMarseille

dAixMarseille is a French research unit that focuses on mathematics and its applications. It was formed in 2020 through the merger of two existing research laboratories: the Centre de Mathématiques et d'Informatique (CMI) in Marseille and the Laboratoire d'Analyse, Géométrie et Applications (LAGA) in Aix-en-Provence. This consolidation aimed to create a stronger, more comprehensive mathematical research hub in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region.

The unit is jointly supported by the French National Centre for Scientific Research (CNRS), Aix-Marseille University, and the University of Toulon. Its research activities span a wide spectrum of mathematics, including algebra, analysis, geometry, probability, statistics, and computer science. dAixMarseille also actively engages in interdisciplinary research, applying mathematical tools to fields such as physics, biology, economics, and data science.

dAixMarseille is home to a diverse community of researchers, including professors, postdoctoral fellows, and doctoral students. The unit fosters a collaborative environment, encouraging the exchange of ideas and the development of new research projects. It plays a significant role in training the next generation of mathematicians and scientists through its involvement in master's and doctoral programs.
