d110

A d110 is a die designed to yield an integer from 1 to 110. In common tabletop gaming, dice are typically d4, d6, d8, d10, d12, d20, or d100, and a 110-sided die is not part of a standard set. 110-sided dice are produced mainly as novelty or for specialized uses, and are available from a small number of manufacturers or as custom orders. They are usually polyhedral dice with 110 faces or spherical dice with many faces tuned to produce approximate uniform outcomes; because of the high number of faces, achieving true uniformity is more challenging than with smaller dice, so manufacturers use precise balancing or designs to minimize bias. Faces are typically labeled with integers 1 through 110, though some makers use two-digit labeling or a combination of digits.

In practice, d110 is used when a large range is desirable in a single roll, or for

Notable examples: Louis Zocchi’s 100-sided die is better known; d110s are predominantly custom-made or hobbyist items
