compusisteis
Compusisteis is the second person plural form of the Spanish verb componer in the pretérito indefinido (simple past). It corresponds to the English “you all composed” or “you all put together.” The verb componer means to compose, create, or assemble something, such as a musical piece, a text, or a mixture or arrangement. In the preterite, componer uses an irregular stem: compus-, giving the full set compuse, compusiste, compuso, compusimos, compusisteis, compusieron. The form compusisteis thus combines the irregular stem with the standard -isteis ending of the vosotr as past tense.
Formation and usage notes: compusisteis is derived from the combination of the prefix com- and the stem
Regional considerations: the vosotos form compusisteis is standard in Spain and in some contexts in other Iberian-speaking
