Chlorové is an adjective used in Czech to describe substances that contain chlorine or are related to chlorine. In chemistry, chlorové sloučeniny refer to compounds in which chlorine is present, either as a halogen bonded to another element or as chloride ions in salts and ionic compounds. The term encompasses inorganic chlorides, such as sodium chloride and calcium chloride, as well as organic chlorinated compounds where chlorine is bonded to carbon.
