A cabalist is an individual who practices or studies Kabbalah, a system of Jewish mysticism. Kabbalah seeks to understand the divine nature of God and the relationship between the divine and the mortal universe. Practitioners, known as cabalists, engage in contemplation, meditation, and the study of esoteric texts to gain spiritual insight.
