For some brushes, a tufting process is used where bundles of bristles are inserted into pre-drilled holes and secured with staples or adhesive. In other cases, bristles are anchored using a hot-melt adhesive or by threading them through the material of the head. The final steps often involve trimming the bristles to ensure uniform length and sharpness, followed by quality inspection and packaging.
