Buscando is the present participle (gerund) of the verb buscar in Spanish and Portuguese, meaning "searching" or "looking for." It denotes ongoing action and is used to form progressive tenses with estar (or with other auxiliary verbs in compound tenses) and to describe ongoing search processes.
