borogs
Borogs are fictional creatures that first appeared in the works of Lewis Carroll. They are often described as peculiar and somewhat fearsome beings, though their exact nature is left somewhat ambiguous. The poem describes them as "fierce," and the narrator warns to "beware of the Jubjub bird, and take care of the frumious Bandersnatch, but above all, beware of the borogoves." This implies they are a creature to be avoided.
Later interpretations and illustrations, such as those by John Tenniel, have often depicted borogs as bird-like
