Bordrods are a type of gemstone-opal deposit that occurs in the Shandur Plains of Chitral District in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province of Pakistan. The deposits consist of common opals, noble opals, and iridescent glows, which are embedded in layers of rock and various types of soil.
