Bismesylates are chemical species in which two methanesulfonyl (mesylate) groups are associated with a molecule. This term covers two common forms: bis(mesylate) esters, where two mesylate groups are attached to the same molecule (often converting two hydroxyl or amino sites to mesylate esters), and bis(mesylate) salts, where two mesylate anions balance a doubly charged cation, resulting in a di-salt.
