The concept is central to film, television, animation, and many imaging workflows, where moving pictures are built from individual still frames rather than a single continuous video file in the capture or production stage. Billedsekvenser can be stored as a series of image files named in sequence (for example frame001.png, frame002.png) or rendered as a frame sequence from a computer graphics pipeline.
