baháíusko

Bahá'íusko is the term used in the Esperanto language for the Baháʼí Faith. The Baháʼí Faith is a religion founded by Baháʼu'lláh in the 19th century in Persia. Its central theme is the unity of God, the unity of religions, and the unity of humankind. Baháʼís believe that Baháʼu'lláh is the most recent divine messenger in a line of prophets that includes Abraham, Moses, Buddha, Jesus, and Muhammad. They teach that all major religions originate from the same divine source and are stages in a single unfolding of God's purpose for humanity.

The Baháʼí Faith emphasizes the importance of spiritual principles such as the elimination of all forms of prejudice, equality between men and women, harmony of science and religion, and the establishment of a just and sustainable global society. The religion's administrative order is based on elected assemblies at local, national, and international levels, with no clergy. The principal texts of the Baháʼí Faith include the writings of Baháʼu'lláh, as well as those of his son ʻAbdu'l-Bahá and his grandson Shoghi Effendi. The Baháʼí calendar consists of 19 months, each with 19 days, and the Baháʼí year begins on the vernal equinox, March 21st. Esperanto speakers who are adherents of the Baháʼí Faith use the term "Bahá'íusko" when referring to their religious beliefs and practices in the Esperanto language.
