Avkrefteå is a river in the fictional Nordmark region of Vestlandia. It flows for about 42 kilometers from the Sørefjell high plateau in the north to the estuary at Lågvik on the western coast. The river drains a catchment of roughly 380 square kilometers and passes through the municipalities of Fjellby and Skogsdal. The upper course is steep with rocky rapids, while the lower reaches are broader and meandering.

The river originates on the Sørefjell plateau at an elevation around 900 meters, fed by snowmelt and rainfall. Average discharge is about 10 cubic meters per second, with higher flow in spring and after rainfall. Seasonal variations are typical, and the lower valley can experience partial freezing in especially cold winters.
