Aspiraation is not a standard English term and is most often a misspelling of aspiration. Aspiration, in its correct form, has several related senses.

In medical and physiological contexts, aspiration refers to the inhalation of substances into the airway, such as saliva, food, or gastric contents. This can occur during swallowing difficulties, sedation, or loss of consciousness and may lead to complications like aspiration pneumonitis or pneumonia. Aspiration can also describe a procedure in which fluid or air is drawn out of a body cavity or tissue by suction, such as aspiration of a pleural effusion or a fine-needle aspiration biopsy.

In linguistics, aspiration describes a phonetic feature where a consonant is released with a noticeable burst of air, as in the difference between certain aspirated stops (for example, the English p in "pin") and unaspirated stops (as in "spin").

In a figurative sense, aspiration refers to a goal, ambition, or desired outcome that a person seeks to achieve.
