arrendatário

Arrendatário is the person who rents a property or asset under a contract of arrendamento from an arrendador (landlord). The term is used in Portuguese-speaking countries to identify the lessee in a lease arrangement. Arrendamento can refer to urban or rural leases, although the exact terminology and conditions may vary by country.

Rights and obligations: The arrendatário has the right to use and enjoy the rented object within the limits of the contract and legal protections against eviction.
