Arquetípicos refers to concepts or patterns that are considered primordial, universal, and fundamental to the human psyche. This term is closely associated with the work of Carl Jung, a Swiss psychiatrist and psychoanalyst. Jung proposed that the human unconscious contains a collective layer, inherited from our ancestors, which he termed the collective unconscious. Within this collective unconscious reside archetypes, which are innate, universal prototypes for ideas and images.

These archetypes are not inherited memories but rather predispositions to perceive, feel, and behave in certain ways. They manifest in myths, legends, fairy tales, dreams, and art across different cultures and time periods, suggesting a common human experience. Examples of archetypes identified by Jung include the Mother, the Hero, the Wise Old Man, the Shadow, and the Anima/Animus. Each archetype represents a fundamental aspect of human nature and can influence an individual's personality, relationships, and life path. Understanding these arquetípicos can provide insights into human motivation and behavior.
