Anestesiasta is a term of Finnish origin that translates to "anesthesiologist" in English. An anesthesiologist is a medical doctor who specializes in the practice of anesthesiology. This field of medicine involves the prevention and management of pain and the critical care of patients before, during, and after surgical or medical procedures.
