alloccupazione

Alloccupazione is not a term with a fixed meaning in standard Italian. It does not appear in major dictionaries and is rarely attested in published texts. When it does appear, it is typically either a typographical error for all’occupazione or occupazione, or a nonce neologism without an established sense. In the area of housing policy or urban planning, some authors might coin alloccupazione to denote the allocation of occupancy rights, i.e., the distribution of housing units to eligible residents. Such use is not standardized and would require explicit definition by the author. Absent authoritative sources, alloccupazione should be treated as ambiguous or erroneous rather than a defined technical term.
