alilisensoinnista
Alilisensoinnista (sublicensing) refers to the act by which a licensee who has obtained rights from a licensor under a license grants some or all of those rights to a third party. Sublicensing terms are determined by the original license contract and applicable law. Whether sublicensing is allowed, and on what conditions, depends on the license grant. In many licenses, sublicensing requires the licensor's prior consent; in others, it is permitted with or without notice, or it is limited to certain fields of use, territories, or time frames. A sublicense creates a chain of rights: the sublicensee obtains rights from the licensee under the license and is bound by the same terms, at least to the extent necessary to fulfill the license.
