Alfacontradrivoren is a concept vehicle that was first unveiled by the Italian automobile manufacturer Alfa Corsanti during the 2025 Geneva Motor Show. The name is a portmanteau that combines “Alfa,” the brand’s traditional prefix, with “Contra Driver,” referring to its dual-driver cockpit configuration, and “En,” a reference to the Enzo Ferrari legacy that the project claims to honor. The vehicle is presented as a high‑performance, electric hypercar designed for both track and road use, featuring a lightweight carbon‑fiber construction and an 800‑kW hybrid powertrain.

The launch presentation highlighted the Alfacontradrivoren’s striking two‑seat, tandem cockpit, which is intended to reduce aerodynamic drag and improve driver ergonomics. According to the manufacturer, the car’s battery pack provides a range of up to 500 kilometres and can be charged to 80 per cent in just four minutes using an ultra‑fast charging station. The powertrain combines a 700‑kW electric motor with a 100‑kW internal combustion engine that also functions as a range extender. The resulting combined output is marketed at 1,000 horsepower, enabling a 0‑100 km/h acceleration time of 2.5 seconds.

While the Alfacontradrivoren has not yet entered production, it has attracted attention from automotive journalists who praise its ambitious blend of technology and design. Critics note that the price tag, estimated at €200,000, positions the vehicle in a crowded hypercar segment dominated by brands such as Porsche, Ferrari, and Lamborghini. The car’s development is slated to continue through prototype testing in 2026, with a potential limited production run planned for 2028.
