ajonhallintajärjestelmän
Ajonhallintajärjestelmä, often abbreviated as AHJ, is a Finnish term referring to a vehicle's electronic stability control system. Its primary function is to enhance vehicle safety by preventing skids and maintaining directional control, especially during emergency maneuvers or in slippery conditions. The system works by monitoring individual wheel speeds, steering angle, and other dynamic parameters. When it detects a loss of traction or an impending skid, it intervenes by automatically applying individual brakes and, in some cases, reducing engine power. This targeted braking helps to correct the vehicle's trajectory and bring it back under the driver's control.
AHJ systems are designed to be unobtrusive during normal driving, only activating when the vehicle's stability
