Actuallypt is a Brazilian internet meme format that originated on social media platforms around 2014. The term is derived from a portuguese wordplay, "as prometido", which translates to "as promised" in English, with the word "as" being changed to "actually", to make a pun on the English phrase.

In an actuallypt, a meme creator places a existing clip or a piece of media, usually a comedic or ironic video or image, on top of another existing clip or piece of media, altering the original context of the piece, usually replacing or substituting one or more elements to make it look like something else.
