abiyya

Abiyya, also known as Abiy Ahmed Ali, is an Ethiopian politician who has served as the Prime Minister of Ethiopia since April 2018. Born on August 15, 1976, in Bako, Ethiopia, Abiyya is a member of the Oromo ethnic group and is known for his efforts to promote peace and stability in the country. He is also a member of the Oromo Democratic Party.

Abiyya's political career began in 2005 when he was elected to the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia's House of Peoples' Representatives. He served as the Minister of Water Resources and Energy from 2012 to 2016. In 2016, he was appointed as the Minister of Foreign Affairs, a position he held until his appointment as Prime Minister in 2018.
