Zámrsk

Zámrsk is a municipality in the Pardubice Region of the Czech Republic. It is located in the Orlické Mountains foothills, approximately 12 kilometers east of Ústí nad Orlicí. The village is situated in a picturesque valley surrounded by forests and agricultural land. The Třebovka river flows through the municipality.

The history of Zámrsk can be traced back to the 14th century when it was first mentioned in written records. The village developed around a fortified manor, parts of which still exist today. Over the centuries, Zámrsk was part of various noble estates. The dominant feature of the village is the Zámrsk Castle, which has undergone numerous reconstructions and now serves as a cultural center.
