Zlepenoue

Zlepenoue is a fictional archipelago and political entity created for world-building and speculative fiction. In its canonical setting, it lies in the eastern sea of the continent of Vespera and comprises twelve main islands and numerous islets; the principal island shares the name Zlepenoue.

Geography and environment: The archipelago spans roughly 8,000 square kilometers, with coastal plains on most islands and volcanic uplands on two. Coral reefs guard shallow bays; the climate is maritime temperate, with mild winters and cool summers. Biodiversity includes mangroves, seabirds, and endemic reef fish.

It gained formal autonomy within a regional federation in 1912 and maintains its own provincial councils under a constitutional framework. The national government is located in Marel on Zlepenoue Island.
