Zhengding

Zhengding County (正定县) is a county-level administrative division of Shijiazhuang, the capital of Hebei Province, China. It is located in the central part of the province and forms part of the greater Shijiazhuang metropolitan area. The county seat is in the town of Zhengding.

Zhengding has a long history dating back to ancient times. It contains several historic sites, most notably Longxing Temple, a major Buddhist complex with roots in early dynastic periods and significant development during the Sui and Tang eras. The area also preserves older city walls and other relics that reflect its historical role as a regional center.

Economy and transport: The local economy combines agriculture with light industry and logistics. Agriculture focuses on grains and vegetables, while industrial activity is supported by proximity to Shijiazhuang. Shijiazhuang Zhengding International Airport is located within the county, making Zhengding a key transport hub for northern Hebei.
