Zajérzékelés

Zajérzékelés, often translated as sound perception or auditory sensation, refers to the biological and neurological process by which organisms detect and interpret sound waves. It is a fundamental sensory modality that allows for communication, environmental awareness, and the detection of potential threats or opportunities. The process begins with the physical reception of sound waves by an auditory organ, such as ears in many animals.

These mechanical vibrations are then transduced into electrical signals within specialized sensory cells.
