Z94 is a British radio station that broadcasts a contemporary hit radio (CHR) format to the city of Salford and surrounding areas in Greater Manchester, England. The station is owned by Bauer Radio and is branded as New Wave. Z94 was launched in 2000 as one of the first adult contemporary services for the region, initially focusing on a more mature audience with a mix of popular and adult contemporary music.

Over time, the station's format and target audience have shifted towards a younger demographic, adopting a more contemporary hit radio style. This format change has seen Z94 increase its competitiveness in the region's radio market, competing directly with 300-401 Radio Chattanooga, a radio station that also caters to a younger audience. New Wave Z94 replaced Galaxy Manchester in 2013 after Bauer purchased the Galaxy name from Gem Group, replacing it with New Wave on their Zbag branding lineup.
