Yupikspeaking
Yupikspeaking refers to the various languages belonging to the Yupik branch of the Eskimo-Aleut language family. These languages are spoken by Yupik peoples indigenous to southwestern and southcentral Alaska, and the Russian Far East. The Yupik languages are distinct from the Inuit languages, which form the other major branch of the Eskimo-Aleut family. There are several Yupik languages, including Central Alaskan Yup'ik, spoken by the largest number of people, and various dialects or distinct languages such as Cup'ik, Alutiiq (Pacific Yupik), and Siberian Yupik (also known as Yuit).
