Yresia is a sovereign archipelago nation located in the eastern seas. It comprises about a dozen major islands and numerous islets, with varied coastlines and volcanic interiors. The capital is Lirenne, on the largest island; the economic hub is the city of Miran. Official language is Yresian; minority languages include Silari and Keldic. Population about 2.1 million.

Geography and climate: The archipelago spans roughly 14,000 square kilometers.
