Therapeutic ultrasound is used for pain relief, tissue heating, and breaking down kidney stones. Research is also ongoing into more advanced medical applications, such as targeted drug delivery using ultrasound. The versatility and non-invasive nature of many ultrasonic applications continue to drive innovation in this field.
